Air Fryer Peach Cobbler

Air Fryer Peach Cobbler is one of those desserts that never goes out of style. Whether for a family dinner, a casual gathering, or any occasion, this air-fried cobbler is a favorite. Using the air fryer makes it super easy, cutting down baking time while still giving you that golden, buttery topping and tender fruit filling. I love that it can be made with fresh or frozen peaches, and stored well in the fridge or freezer, making it a perfect make-ahead dessert.

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for the best flavor: If your peaches aren’t quite ripe, let them sit at room temperature for a day or two to soften and develop more sweetness.
  • Frozen peaches work, too: If fresh peaches aren’t in season, frozen ones are a great alternative. Just thaw and drain them before using them to prevent excess liquid in the cobbler.
  • Use an appropriately sized baking dish: Your dish should fit comfortably in the air fryer basket, leaving enough space for air to circulate.
  • Don’t overmix the batter: Stir until just combined to keep the topping light and tender. Overmixing can make it dense.
  • Leave space in the batter: Dropping the batter in spoonfuls rather than spreading it evenly helps you get the best texture as it bakes.
  • Check for doneness: You'll know the cobbler is ready when the topping is firm and golden brown. If the center still looks wet, give it a few more minutes.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving: This gives the juices time to thicken, so you get the perfect balance of fruit and topping in every bite.
