Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ketchup +2 tablespoons
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ pounds ground turkey
  • ½ small onion minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup sundried tomatoes chopped
  • ½ cup feta cheese crumbled
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180ºC).
  • In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of ketchup with Worcestershire sauce and set aside.
¼ cup ketchup, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • In a medium bowl, mix the ground turkey, minced onion, olive oil, chopped sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, marjoram, salt, and pepper until just combined.
1 ½ pounds ground turkey, ½ small onion, 1 tablespoon olive oil, ½ cup sundried tomatoes, ½ cup feta cheese, ½ cup breadcrumbs, 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon marjoram, Salt and pepper
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan or on a baking pan. Spoon the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce mixture over the top, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake the meatloaf uncovered for 55-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
    2 tablespoons fresh parsley

Notes

  • Amp up the flavor: If you can find smoked sundried tomatoes, they’ll bring a rich, smoky twist that really lifts this turkey meatloaf.
  • Make it gluten-free: No need to miss out—just swap the breadcrumbs for gluten-free ones, or crush up some gluten-free crackers for the same texture.
  • Stay juicy: Turkey can dry out, but a little olive oil mixed in keeps everything moist and tender. Don’t skip this step!
  • Rustic charm: Want that homemade, rustic feel? Ditch the loaf pan and shape the meatloaf by hand on a baking sheet. It looks great and gives the edges a nice crisp.
  • Switch up the cheese: No feta? Goat cheese will keep things creamy, or go bold with blue cheese if you want a stronger flavor hit.
  • Let it rest: Don’t rush to slice the meatloaf as soon as it’s out of the oven. Give it 5 minutes to rest, and you’ll get cleaner slices and a juicier bite.
  • Sneak in veggies: Grate some zucchini or carrots into the mix. It adds extra moisture and a veggie boost without anyone being the wiser.
