Prepare the Peaches
Peel and slice the juicy peaches, then toss them with sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Make sure they’re well-coated, then transfer them to a baking dish.
This step helps bring out their natural juices and enhances the flavor.


Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and melted butter.
Once combined, sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until the batter is smooth and well-mixed. This will create a light and fluffy topping for the cobbler.



Assemble the Cobbler
Spoon the batter over the peach slices, leaving some spaces between spoonfuls. This allows the batter to spread as it bakes, giving you that classic cobbler texture where the fruit peeks through.

Covering all the gaps with the batter won’t allow the steam to escape while the cobbler bakes, and in turn, it won’t crisp up.


Air Fry the Cobbler
Place the baking dish in the air fryer and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18 to 22 minutes. The cobbler is done once the peach juices are already bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
If needed, check the center with a toothpick to make sure it’s cooked through.
Serve with Ice Cream
Let the cobbler cool for a few minutes before serving; the filling will thicken slightly as it sits.

- Frozen peaches work, too: If fresh peaches aren’t in season, frozen ones are a great option. Just thaw and drain them before using them to prevent excess liquid in the cobbler.
- Use an appropriately sized baking dish: Your dish should fit comfortably in the air fryer basket, leaving enough space for air to circulate. You could even use ramekins.
- Don’t overmix the batter: Stir until just combined to keep the topping light and tender. Overmixing can make it dense.
- Leave space in the batter: Dropping the batter in spoonfuls rather than spreading it evenly helps you get the best texture as it bakes.
- Check for doneness: You’ll know the cobbler is ready when the topping is firm and golden brown. If the center still looks wet, give it a few more minutes.
- Let it cool slightly before serving: This gives the juices time to thicken, so you get the perfect balance of fruit and topping in every bite.

How to Store Leftover Leftovers
If you have some leftover cobbler, don’t worry—you can safely store it in an airtight container or simply cover the dish with plastic wrap and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Once you’re ready to enjoy this classic dessert again, just reheat it in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes to crisp up the topping while warming the filling.
If you want to freeze it, that’s fine. Wrap it tightly with plastic wrap and foil to prevent freezer burn, and store for up to 3 months. Remember that the topping might soften a bit after thawing, so reheating in the air fryer is the best way to bring back some texture.
